School Founders Academy is a specialized preparation program designed for individuals who aspire to create and lead a school. Guided by its mission, the academy empowers future school founders with the knowledge and skills necessary to build innovative educational institutions. Through a structured seven-week curriculum, participants explore core values such as honesty, integrity, leadership, and prudence while refining their mission, vision, and decision-making abilities. The program provides essential tools, mentorship, and strategic guidance to ensure that each founder can establish a school that effectively serves students’ diverse needs. In addition, School Founders Academy individualizes the curriculum to meet the exclusive and unique components of the specialty school of your dreams. With a vision to foster innovation in education, School Founders Academy equips passionate individuals with the confidence and resources to turn their school concepts into reality.
Meet Dr. Sandra K. Breece
Dr. Breece is the Founder and Superintendent of Telesis Center for Learning, Inc. founded in 1991 which now includes two tuition free public charter schools: Telesis Preparatory Academy for grades 9-12 and Telesis Preparatory for grades K-8 which she oversees the non-profit corporation, Telesis Center for Learning, Inc., with a staff of 50 qualified teachers and staff. She has touched the lives of thousands of students who have attended Telesis during the past 32 years.
Dr. Sandra K. Breece holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and has her BS and MS degrees in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood endorsement and a double minor in Psychology and Zoology from Arizona State University. She has many years of experience as a teacher and administrator in K-12 education, private and public, ultimately becoming an Arizona certified principal and superintendent all in Lake Havasu City, AZ where she has lived since 1966. Telesis Preparatory Academy (grades 9-12) and Telesis Preparatory (grades K-8) are both fully accredited schools receiving A (Excellent) and B (Highly Performing) letter grades respectively from the State of Arizona in 2022.
Dr. Breece added Paw Prints Preschool to the Telesis complex, a tuition-based preschool program, that has doubled in size since opening in 2019.
Dr. Sandra K. Breece now provides consulting services through her consulting firm, School Founders Academy, nationwide for others who desire to start a school of any kind. She shares more of the services provided at schoolfounders.academy as well as the Facebook page.
